C. 1271, 1287 and 1291 headed south to Tulsa on March 9, 2008 in the consist of the H-GALTUL1-09. Expected to be forwarded to Fort Worth.

F. 1276’s build location, date and number not yet confirmed. Unit shot traveling across IL with BNSF 1281, but there were no reports that it came from Paducah. Most likely from Mt. Vernon, but even that is speculation.

J. This unit, along with several other BNSF units from this order, is remote control-equipped..

L. Originally demonstrated as NREX 2013 on the Elgin, Joliet & Eastern in Gary, IN in late Jan. 2008. It was first noted there on the EJ&E Yahoo group. As a demonstrator, it was painted in primer yellow with NREX 2013 stenciled on the side of the cab in black.
M. NREX 2013 also demonstrated on the Indiana Harbor Belt in early Feb. 2008, and is supposed to demonstrate on the Belt Railway of Chicago in Feb. 2008. From various discussions. Per a discussion on LocoNotes Yahoo group by Ken Lanovich, The 2013's demo on BRC was cancelled, and the unit was returned to Dixmoor for repainting and recommissioning as BNSF 1286.
N. Builder's plate info verified by Ken Lanovich, and double checked when the unit emerged as BNSF 1286. At that time he was told that the unit was built at Silvis.
O. 1287’s build date and number remains unconfirmed at this time. Build location doesn't appear to be Paducah or Mt. Vernon based on on-site spottings. Silvis, perhaps? I can’t find the citation that it was from Paducah now.
